Our Goal was 75kW of New Solar Electricity in the Valley. We hit over 139kW!
Solarize Ojai Valley is a group-purchasing Solar PV Program designed to make going solar easier and more affordable for Ojai Valley homeowners. Our partner, the Community Environmental Council (CEC) helped guide homeowners through the entire process as an unbiased expert resource – making it as easy as possible for everyone to go solar.
If you missed this summer, look for the program in 2016.

Salon Series II: Friday, April 10
Next Salon Slated for Friday, April 10.
Theme: “Elements”
“A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.”
SALON SERIES II is Friday, April 10th, 7 to 9 p.m. at the Ojai Valley Green Coalition Resource Center – 206 N. Signal St., Suite S, in downtown Ojai.
In honor of Earth Day, April’s Salon theme is ‘ELEMENTS’.
Earth, Air, Water, Fire, and Aether provide the sparks of life, moving around and through us. The 98 elements of the periodic table dance an infinite dance to form everything we touch in this world, and indeed, the universe.
Everyday life in Southern California engenders an acute awareness of the classical elements: the ever present danger of fire, either far too little or too much water, our need for clean air, our quaking and sliding earth, and the mysterious all penetrating element aether.
In this salon we reawaken our awareness of the elements in our life by sharing our stories, favorite words, images . . .
Earth Day 2015 – It’s Our Turn to Lead
That’s the theme for Earth Day 2015 held at the Oak Grove School campus – 220 West Lomita Avenue. This year’s fun-filled event will take place on Saturday, April 18, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Start the day out with a shoreline clean-up at Lake Casitas.
Then we encourage attendees to come by trolley (free for the day) or by bicycle and use the Earth Day bike valet. If driving, please park at the Ranch House or along Lomita Ave.
Plan to stay the day to enjoy music, food, sustainable transportation showcase, Go Green Exhibitors, student (our future leaders) displays and presentations, the Green Screen, and connecting as a community.
The day will end with a great raffle. Contact us to buy your tickets!
