Creek Restoration Workday in Libbey Park.
Recommend parking in Libbey Park Montgomery St. parking lot. Then come up the stairs by lower tennis court restrooms. Click here for a map.
We’ll be mulching and removing non-native plants to help re-establish a functioning wetland and riparian ecosystem that supports a diversity of fish and wildlife species and to improve the flow of water. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes, long-sleeved shirt and long pants. Gloves and a shovel or hand trowel would be great too, in case we have a large turnout.
* No limit to number of participants.
* No registration required.
