Ojai City Council to Discuss Single-Use Shopping Bags - April 26

At the regular Ojai city council meeting on Tuesday, April 26, OVGC director will share information on the environmental impact of single-use carryout bags and urge the council to initiate the steps to bring a bag reduction ordinance to a vote. Joining her to also speak and give expert testimony is the Surfrider Foundation's national coordinator for its Rise Above Plastics campaign, Bill Hickman.

If you have an opinion about this issue, especially if you would support an ordinance, please come to the meeting and speak. The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m.
