The Ventura City Council decided at its January 24 meeting to fund a fiscal analysis before voting to pursue annexing portions of North Ventura Avenue and Canada Larga, as part of its larger Westside Community Plan.
Though imminent action is no longer called for, we encourage you to educate yourself to the issues and let decision makers know of your questions and concerns regarding an annexation of the Canada Larga Valley. Ventura city staff is making it easy by coming to us. They will be presenting information and plans at the regular Wednesday, February 2 Ojai Planning Commission meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m.
