OVGC presented "Fresh": Thinking in new ways about the food we eat!

Alternatives to the industrial food system are a hot topic these
days. The new film called Fresh, which came to Ojai on Saturday, January 30, celebrates thinkers, businesspeople, and farmers across America who are reinventing our food system. The film offers a practical vision of healthier, sustainable alternatives. It features, among others, Joel Salatin, made famous by Michael Pollen’s bestseller The Omnivore’s Dilemma. The film was sponsored by the health foods company Nutiva in cooperation with the Ojai Valley Green Coalition, and was shown at the Ojai Theatre, 145 E. Ojai Avenue, at 4:30 p.m. Admission was $10. A discussion followed the film, and all were welcome to participate.
